In 2024 we have reintroduced our Junior Firefighter Program . Our Junior Firefighter program is for boys and girls age 15-17 that are interested in becoming a firefighter.  This program is an introduction to the fire service and the beginning step to a career in the fire service. Members in the program are taught the skills of the fire service following a similar curriculum as the Massachusetts Fire Academy and will get to interact, train, and work with the firefighters on the department.  Members of the program train weekly on Wednesday nights and sometimes on Saturdays. A huge thank you to Firefighter Carolyn Abrantes for taking on the task of reintroducing this program.
